Trip to Portugal February, 2008

St. Luzia is on Viana do Castelo (northen part of Portugal) The costumes we sell come from this area. Rich,sumptuously crafted from stone. A divine interior that will take your breath .

Summer house for the founder of Vista Alegre another trademark in Portugal for dinnerware and houseware. Today is the tasting building for Port Wines. Wonderful to visit at 3 PM. You can try 3 different Ports one with 10 ,20,30. We tried just a sip of the 40 year old Port. Each glass of 40 year will be $40.00 The garden for the Port Wine mansion with a wonderfull view to the River Douro.
One of the hundreds of butchers. Hanging there were dry sausages:
Choirico Portuguese,morcela ( sweet blood sausage) and other diverging of it. I miss  those butchers around the corner in any village or city.
All of the family except my old sons. My parents, my parents in law, my son Daniel, nephew's Fred and Tiago My sister in law, my brother and us.
This restaurant was very cool, "the beer's basement" is the name and you can find many different beers.Great choice food was delicious and price pretty fair.
